probably because the product is expensive and doesn't have spectacular results. Some happy consumers say they like the Timewise kit because it makes their skin smooth and radiant, while most unhappy users would never buy the kit again because it is expensive and doesn't do much against fine lines and age spots.I absolutely love this foundation and have used it exclusively since I found it 2 years ago. It is oil-free, which is very important to me as I have combination/acne prone skin, and it provides adequate coverage to give me an even complexion without looking like cake-face. My skin does not feel greasy afterwards, and it doesn't make my skin break out. If I had any complaint at all it would be that it does not provide SPF protection, but that's not enough to break the deal for me, because I also use the Mary Kay day cream, which does provide the SPF protection. It's a little expensive to buy from my Mary Kay consultant, but that's why I buy mine on eBay!
