my tinted moisturizer just wasn't quite enough coverage

I liked the texture as it was going on, the blending qualities w/ a sponge were good, better than liquids I've tried to blend, and the finished product was like a canvas ready to be painted! Nice and even! However--in one half hour--my dry skin was itching like crazy and I had to go wash it all off and put on some more moisturizer--even though I had put moisturizer UNDER the foundation too. It's just too drying for my normal to dry skin that is not overly sensitive. If you tend to have dry skin, I'd look for something else. It was disappointing, as it covered and blended well. I have been using the cream to powder foundation for about 3 years now. I have a problem with makeup "melting" and being gone by lunch time. This product lasts far longer than anything else I've tried. Recently I started using a makeup primer with it and it lasts all day. Using the primer with other foundations that I throw on for a quick trip to the market does not have the lasting effect. Therefore, it must be the cream to powder. I have "mature" skin and find it covers more evenly and hides more problem areas than other foundations.
