Most mineral powder products are difficult to match to skin tone and sometimes look orangey or ashy. The untinted veil doesn't have this issue. It really makes pores disappear. I need more coverage so I use it over foundation but it is great at blending all your make-up together.
I'm not sure this is the culprit, but being a powder it does go into the air and maybe into my eyes. This sometimes irritates them, and I have gotten a couple of styes. It could be allergies or both but if your eyes are sensitive you may want to be careful how you use it. Also takes away excess shininess without looking chalky.
